Daily Express: Gang of maroccans carrying a frightened blonde girl

DAILY EXPRESS

NOW A 'PHOTO' OF MADELEINE IN MOROCCO SIGHTINGS: Madeleine

Wednesday September 26,2007

A PHOTO has emerged that could prove Madeleine McCann is ALIVE and being held in Morocco. Interpol is investigating the picture of a very frightened blonde girl being carried by a GANG OF MOROCCANS

EDITOR'S NOTE: DAILY EXPRESS DELETED THE STORY. SEE THE ORIGINAL PAGE AND THE FULL STORY HERE...

It was taken from a car window by a Spanish couple in Zinzat, in the north of the African country on August 31. The group was walking along a road in the direction of Tangiers and the blonde head of the little girl can be seen behind a woman's shoulder. (...)

To use the word 'gang' for the group visible in these photographs is quite revealing

A gang...sorry GANG OF MOROCCANS you say? In Morocco? Very suspicious. I can see why the people who took this photo wasted no time in handing this photo over to the authorities 3 weeks later.

I agree, gang has definite connotations.
These people are obviously on the move.
Did the photographer follow them?
What were they up to and where did they go?
Are they a travelling circus troupe in fancy dress?
Why does nobody ever stop these people with "Madeleine" and ask a few questions?
Big smelly rat odour.

They look like a family to me, not a 'gang'! The older child has a similar skin tone to the toddler being carried. This case shows just how racist British people really are, despite their hypocritical pronunciations on equality. Again, this kid could have been photoshpped onto the lady 'carrying' her.

Could the person carrying the child be a man?

How could a family with no private transport facilitate such an abduction. Whoever has her won't be walking down the road with her on their back.

Looks like they are on the move to a another hiding place. Down that hill by the looks of it. I think the person carrying the child is A MAN - look at the shoulder width compared to the other females. It certainly looks like Madeleine. She needs to be found.

Last night I was - and continue - utterly disgusted with this DE article on which we are commenting. These women do not look like a gang to me. The child does not look at all frightened. We can't even say if they are blond women are not, as their hair is covered. There are plenty of blond, light-skin children in other countries.
Having said this, let us use logic. So someone came to Portugal, walks into a room and kidnaps a child - Madeleine, blonde, light eyes and skin. Besides just walking around the streets with her after her face spread out all over the world, they do not put a hat on her head to cover her and protect her very light skin - which is supposedly one of her cheerished assets and one of the reasons she was kidnapped. They see a couple come by, take a picture, but they are so dangerous that they do nothing to stop this.
One thing is to wish terribly that this child be alive. Another is to be blind.
This is a picture like many others. Three women, with two children. Obviously they have come some way, and a little child would need to be carried on her back.
The imagination, the prejudice behind this case would make an excellent study.
The McCanns - white, doctors, well-off and well-connected committed a crime (negligence at the very least). And I for one do not excuse that. They are not silly teenagers. They are grown people who should have known better. But the British protect them.
These people, obviously hard working, older, dark skinned foreigners. No one knows anything about them. But no one seems to be upset that a British paper is referring to them as a gang, villifying people without any proof. I guess as long as it's a British child, anything goes.

Madeleine is four years old now. I wonder how difficult it would be to carry a four year old child on one's back - especially for a woman. Initially I thought the adult was a male in odd clothing. The child looks younger than four...I could be wrong.
